Since we re-opened in Summer 2022, on most weekdays, our Museum rooms are filled with continuous streams of young children on educational field trips from Greater New Haven schools and early childhood programs. In addition to giving children and their caregivers time to explore our eight thematic, hands-on exhibits, each child also goes home with a book, part of the Museum's mission of helping families build home libraries. As Museum operating costs increase and family and early childhood program budgets shrink during these challenging economic times, we need your support to continue to make these field trips accessible to all schools and programs in the Greater New Haven area!
