Field Trips at the Connecticut Children’s Museum

We’re excited to welcome early childhood programs, elementary school classes, and summer camp groups for engaging, hands-on learning experiences! Our field trips are designed to spark curiosity and support different ways children learn.

When can we visit?

  • School Year (Early Childhood & Elementary): Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings

  • Summer Camps: Tuesday and Thursday mornings only

What to expect:

  • Your group will have exclusive use of the museum during your scheduled visit

  • Arrive and depart anytime between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM

  • Maximum group size: 40 children

  • Required supervision: At least 1 chaperone for every 5 children

Pricing & Payment

  • Admission: $10 per person (children and adults)

  • Exclusive Use Fee: $50 

Payment details:

  • Payment is due on the day of your visit

  • Final cost may be adjusted based on your actual group size

We accept:

  • Cash

  • Check (payable to Connecticut Children’s Museum)

  • Credit card (2.9% processing fee applies)

  • Purchase Orders

New Haven Public Schools (NHPS)

  • The $50 exclusive use fee is waived

  • 1 free chaperone is included for every 5 paying students
